Get involved and help make a difference with FC Montco!

We are a club run by volunteers, and it takes many hands to grow the organization and keep us successful each season. This helps us keep volunteer roles as manageable as possible, because we value your time as much as you do. We aren't just supporting a soccer club, we are building a community. As older children and their volunteer parents age out of the club, we rely on new volunteers to fill the vacated roles. If you are interested in any of the following positions, or have any questions about the responsibilities or time commitment, please contact president@fcmontco.org.

Above all else, we need to make sure we keep our child athletes safe. Please see Volunteer Requirements for instructions on what we need from you to make sure we archive that important goal, and if you have any questions about those requirements, please email our Risk Management Coordinator at riskmanagement@fcmontco.org.

Upcoming Elections and Current Open Positions (Updated October 2023):

VP Marketing

  • Provide the Board with direction on how to market our club and brand.  Use online advertising, billboards, and other marketing to increase club name and logo visibility.  Coordinate club events.  Experience with online marketing required.
  • Time Commitment:  1-2 hours per week

VP Travel Soccer

  • Work with President and DOC:  Travel soccer philosophy, evaluations/tryouts, and training schedules.  Help recruit new travel coaches and assist coaches with questions.  Welcome new travel players and families.  Work with Soccer Post to order uniforms and supplies.  
  • Time Commitment:  10-12 hours per month, periods of higher activity during team forming

Assistant VP Travel Soccer

  • Collaborate with VP Travel Soccer
  • Time Commitment:  Varies

Secretary

  • Prepare meeting agendas, record and publish meeting minutes, notify the Board and general membership of meetings, serve as coordinator of Insurance, alternate Risk Management coordinator.  
  • Time Commitment: 6 hours a month

Treasurer

  • Responsible for club payments for expenses and ensuring that the club follows its budget.  
  • Time Commitment:  3 hours per week, periods of higher activity prior to and after seasons
